BLUE HAZE - Lr + Ps Tutorial

Blue Haze Tutorial

 Lightroom Objectives :
- achieve a cinematic look
- preserve the skin tones
- flattening shadows without losing too much definition
-Sharpen Image using mask and other settings to taste
-Punch in Clarity for taste to give more edge definition
-Noise Reduction ** - I clicked 18 and normally do about 25-30 (to taste)

Photoshop Objectives:
-Duplicate Image on new layer - run Portraiture - Normal
-Drop Duplicated layer to 40% opacity (or taste)
-Ctrl + E - Merge Layers
-Ctrl + S - Save -   Ctrl + Shift + S = Save As
-Ctrl + W - Close Window

**If you hold down Option (mac) while clicking the SHARPENING sliders you will see the mask as you make your adjustments.  Using this mask prevents "global sharpening" of the image (making your shadows more grainy and the parts you want).

**When adjusting the RADIUS SLIDER (sharpening)  I like to focus on the detail around the heads and faces and I watch to see a little outline appear - (set to 1.3 - 1.5 usually)
